Crystal Blue: Page Previews & More
Picked up my Prelude issue of "CRYSTAL BLUE" locally produced comicbook at @toybros_queensway (also available via @kalibak_komiks and @crimsonstarcomics), and managed to bump into and bugged the writer Ryan Mennen to sign on the cover too (plus a Wefie) ... now to get the artist Kelvin Chan for a autograph too...
The comic was launched the past weekend on September 27th (my birth day, actually) at Kalibak's Komiks. Congratulations all around!
Priced at SG$10 for splendid art and near wordless panels of evocative colouring by Soon Eng (@selim_inthemoment), featured here are select random pages (not spoiling too much, thanks)... and as well I'd bugged the 15 years writing veteran @enthropii for his fave written page, showcased below too! Can you guess WHICH one it is? You gotta go buy Ryan for the "reason why" ... :)
Without giving away the story, know that the tale is tied to island Singapore as well! Written by, drawn by, colored by Singaporeans, Crytal Blue is published by CS Comics / Crimson Star Comics.
