My Toy-Scores at Vintage Market
Featured here is my "final toy-tally" from the Vintage Market at SAFRA Mount Faber today (on Sunday, the last of 3 days for the event)!
Managed to pop by (brought along mum too - wanted to show her the depth of depravity her son was dwelling in muahahahahaha :p) and saw plenty of friends and folks too! Alas most of whom were busyAF tending to customers (and I don’t really want to be a "barrier" to them earning $$$, so I just ninja past) ... I attended the event as "Andy the sometimes toy-collector" and not as "TOYSREVIL", not that anyone would have cared LOL (otherwise I would've gone to the second floor to film the entirety of the event space LOL).
Everything I knew about the event were from my social media feeds and what the algorithm chose for me (case in point this perfunctionary blog-post :p), so it was a refreshing "discovery" to be had, and being able to see them "in-person" (versus the images seen online from previous year's), was ultimately both exhilarating and dizzying! The vibe was electric and the air fuelled by TOYS and a big whiff of nostalgia! Reminded me more of Clarke Quay Sundays than China Square Central tho, and that in itself is already a treat, IMHO. Congrats to everyone involved!
Didn't really help when I was not in any financial position to be able to indulge in myself (nothing too different from my past adult-life lor :p), but still managed to walk away with some choice tiny treasures, which I attempt to showcase here, cheers :)
