"MINI MUERTO: Pocket Size Halloween Toy Show" is a curated international designer toy exhibition that celebrates the art of small-scale creations. This show will focus exclusively on micro figures ranging from 3 to 4 inches—tiny but powerful expressions of imagination that capture the playful and spooky spirit of Halloween.
Curated by RESINWORX CUSTOMLAB and hosted by PLAYROOM Novelty Shop, the event will be held at Chapterhouse Café and Creative Hub, Sikatuna Village, Diliman, Quezon City from November 15 to December 6, 2025.
The vision behind MINI MUERTO is simple: to attest that even in the smallest form of designer toys can carry big stories and make a huge impact. By limiting the size, we highlight detail, creativity, and character—making each piece something that fits in the palm yet remains in memory.
The theme draws from the fun and spookiness of Halloween, interpreted through different cultural lenses of every participating artists from different countries. The word muerto reminds us of traditions that honor the afterlife, but in this show, it is celebrated in a playful, collectible, and approachable way.
International Scope
MINI MUERTO will feature 30 talented artists and designer toy makers from Mexico, USA, Thailand, and the Philippines. While each comes from different cultural backgrounds, all share a passion for storytelling through toys—bringing together an wide-ranging mix of styles that cross borders but connect through creativity.
Goals and Accessibility
This is envisioned as a friendly and affordable designer toy show. By focusing on pocket-size figures, MINI MUERTO allows both seasoned collectors and newcomers to experience and own original pieces without the barrier of high costs. It’s a show that welcomes everyone—artists, collectors, and the curious—to engage with art in a way that feels personal, collectible, and approachable.
