BIRDS OF MOSCOW from Sergey Safonov X Tomenosuke
Russian creator Sergey Safonov's "Birds of Moscow" wood-made art sculptures gets a new lease of toy-life, courtesy of Tomenosuke:
"Figure No. 5" is the first production sculpture from the Birds-of-Moscow project: "A character from a project about the spirit-birds of the city — the ones we barely notice. Made for intimate spaces: a bookshelf, a desk, a bedside table. Any corner that asks for something alive."
Looking much like a "kendama" (*although I suggest you DON'T go playing with it like a kendama :p), each sized 70mm/12cm tall figure (cast polyurethane, acrylic paint, varnishes) is priced ¥17,600 (tax included). 3 colorways to choose from, with edition size 10 each colorway.
Online sale has since launched on tomenosuke.thebase.in! Seek clarity via instagram.com/sergeysafonov, cheers.
