Since the reveal/introduction of tripleS' BYTES "monster characters", official merch has been announced, in the form of PLUSH KEYRING and "blind box" RANDOM FIGURES from "Soundwave"!

Each 100mm tall PLUSH KEYRING is priced $20.00 (28,000 WON), while the RANDOM FIGURE comes boxed with a 57mm tall ??? And a photocard/OBJEKT, each box priced $20.71 (29,000 WON).



What intrigues me thus far is that for the RANDOM FIGURE, it is listed as "PVC, Paper", which could mean the figure is a 3-dimensional figure (versus a "acrylic cutout")?
Images shown thus far are the 2D mascot designs seen previously, in lieu of a sculpted sample, for which the plush shows/showed.

As well the blind box "sets" are divided into the MSNZ 4 X sub-units (MOON, SUN, ZENITH and NEPTUNE), so you'll have 1:6 ratios versus 1:24 chances, so that's a decent spread, IMHO.



Preorders have since started, and ends September 30th (WED 23:59 KST).

I am keeping my personal excitement tempered for the time being, as I am awaiting reply for "International Orders"-query, and will update here when that is answered, cheers!





WHO-IS: For the uninitiated, "tripleS" is a South Korean 24-member multinational girl group formed by MODHAUS that operates as the world's first decentralized K-pop group (Source: Wiki / kpop.fandom.com).

WHY BOTHER: I am a HUGE fan of the girls and their music, hence you are reading this here, thank you for your indulgence, cheers!

Here are some select MVs of their 0T24 releases thus far (absolutely excluding sub-units thereby missing a HUGE discography for tho), and you are recommended to check out their online survival/challenge show "Badge War", for which 4 seasons have been released thus far...!











WHAT-IS: "Badge War" is a series of challenge/survival-style game show-hybrid produced by 1TheK starring the 24 members of KPOP girl group "tripleS", who are put thru individual and group challenges to win embroidered fabric "badges", at the end of the series of challenges, the person with the most badges wins the "war", and walks away with a literal gold badge.

The challenges themselves range from cerebral, to physical challenges and tasks (Individual our groups), sometimes abrasive too. 4 seasons of Badge Wars has happened, and there is somewhat of a "standard" spread of challenges, including a wake-up mission, courage challenges (individual or team-ups), physical contests and more. Besides the "Game Badges", there is also the mystery "Bonus Badge", where the girls do not know that they were challenging for.

Each season has 4 (weekly) episodes and are each self-contained.
