HEADSCULPTS:
altho im appreciating the intensity in Superman/Kar-El's headsculpt, let's just hope this paint-app (J.C.Hong's?) is replicated to the production-pieces, rather than the (obvious) proto-shown here ... the smiley-Clark-face is what we would locally call "kaim pah" (Hokkien for "deserve a beating") LOL - not enduring, but at least captures the characater, IMHO. Jor-El/Marlon Brando looks pretty decent, altho with moulded-hair, it may be a tad difficult to kitbash a Don Vito Corleone/Godfather-figure, dunnit? (i knows whatcha thinking folks :p)

CLOTHES:
nice textures on Superman's superhero-"spandex" (and im NOT joking when i say i hope his red-undies come fitted and not loose like grandad's diapers). collectors may still bulk at the lack of pleather (faux-leather) for his cape (fiar enuff) but im just imagining the peeling that inevitably comes with all pleather materials (and i have a bag fulla 1/6-pleather clothes to attest to that *sobs*). heck, his boots are still moulded, so that's the length and breathe of where this figure's future lies ~ *heh*

Clark Kent's suit - i could live with that (altho the lapels are ALWAYS the issue, all puffy and whatnot - but nothing a little ironing wouldn't fix ... yes, sometimes i iron my figures' clothes)

Jor-El's suit is another whole kettle of fried-fish. altho im always down for 1/6 white clothes (ya know how hard it is to get white pants?), this "movie-authentic" version could have been silver, but that would've been utterly tacky, IMHO. mayhap they could've gone with a 3D/relief S-chest emblem instead of a sewn-on one? oh i forgot; "authenticity" ... *double-heh*

... im talking as if im gonna be getting these figures (*heh*)
