i haven't had a chance to watch the original, so i have no intense-violent-reaction to this Wacky-Races-To-The-Death remake-flick (*heh*) altho i hope this would be uber-violent, as a foil to the PG-rated Speedracer = i always welcome variety in my commercial-WTF-flicks-diet ... here's the original movie-trailer:
