cny2008: holidays' end

CNY Ends and Vengence-Blogging Begins
and so the Chinese Lunar New Year has "unofficially" ended for me since yesterday-ish (and yes, i KNOW there's 15-days worth of CNY to contend with :p) and for many, an end of the long holidays with Monday seeing the start of the work-week (time to go back earning the hong baos lost during the season muahahahaha)

my own "work-week" started with spending an entire Sunday prepping long outstanding blog-posts (tis scary what can be amassed within a few days of non-blogging, at least in my neck'o the cyberwoods :p) and gearing up for a renewed round of weblogging "with a mild vengence" LOL (also primarily im running out of startup-space on my sputtering-Mac and tis seriously threatening to crash itself and soon :p) ... and tis time to pick up the burden yet again ...

"burden" becoz tis getting increasingly hard to blog about all these/those/them wonderous toys that i obviously desire to have, but can nary afford, for the forseeable future (realistically speaking) and the weight is beginning to take it's tiny toll ... but nevertheless, tis ain't no sympathy-post, instead i will strive to improve and quicken my pace and fortitude, to be able to one day be deserving of anyone's generosity! *thumps-chest*

altho i claim not to be a superhero (damn i wish i had self-replicating powers, or at least power to stop slow down time :p) - like Nuke carrying the Mandarin Orange on his head (in the picture), and remembering a phrase from a movie which has since etched itself in my mind: sometimes i wonder if "the juice is worth the squeeze" (a prize for anyone who names the movie - i just haveta think of what prize first LOL :p).

... and perhaps it's not just about the tangible vinyl-bounty i may or may not receive (which actually should be a "boon" instead of "carrot"), but tis the intangible feeling of satisfaction, of crafting a near-decent or palatable+readable post or interview, or even affecting and enriching a reader's time spent on my humble blog, that actually drove me starting down this path in the first place, ennit? ... i just have to remember it again, is all ... :)

but an evolution is afoot ... i just wish i had more time, energy and resources to put them in action (*cross your cyber-fingers for me, folks!*) ... somewhere deep inside of me, i know that that Mandarin Orange is going to taste uber-sweet, when the time comes ... as for "when", tis still a long way to go ... heh :p
