TOYLOVE2008: A Valentine's Photo-Contest by Toysrevil + Crazy Label

i know generally activity or task-based contests don't go down so well with folks here ... or maybe tis my fault for not cultivating nor nurturing a more "DIY-spirit" on my own blog in the first place (which is something i hope to change soon :p) but nevertheless, i reckon i'll still give this little contest-concept a go (as part of my Festive February ... eerrr, Festivities :p), especially when the prize is so much sweeter, and i'm sure you'd agree the effort would be worth it :)
with kind support and ever generosity from Andy Woo of Crazy Label - One Winner will walk away with a SET OF BABY TREESONS (In 4 Colorways)! and all you need to do to enter, is to snap and post a photograph of your TOY/S with the theme "Your Toys Celebrating Valentines" = it could be a date, a night out, a happy sweet story, a sad bittersweet tale, Indoor or Outdoor, candid-snaps or Pre-set dioramas, with any designer toy or plush - heck, even kaiju and 1/6th-scaled figures (;p).
Submissions will be judged for their Creativity, Image Quality and (Visual) Message. Love is all around us, and it's time your toys feel it and get to share theirs too! CONTEST STARTS NOW & DATELINE FOR SUBMISSION IS FEBRUARY 22ND, 2008 (11:59hrs Singapore-time / Standard time zone: UTC/GMT +8 hours)

CONTEST RULES & REQUIREMENTS:
(1) Participants can submit up to 2 photo-images for the duration of the contest. (so choose wisely!) if you decide to change, please choose and delete extra images yourselves, thanks!
(2) Participants can join and upload your pictures in the TOYLOVE2008 flickr-group specifically set up for this contest. (images that fail to conform to guidelines will be removed without explanation, thanks)
(3) fret not, those who are NOT on Flickr! feel free to EMAIL ME your image/s (nothing more than 800-wide pixels please) at toysrevil [at] gmail.com - and i will upload them for you :)
(4) please do label your photo-image appropriately. and if you could TAG it with "toylove2008" - that would be great as well!also do feel free to write a little story or description to the image (fiction or non-fiction - altho we'll be looking at creativity of images, a story would be sweet - example - but not wholly required, as long as you have fun)
(5) Photo-manipulation is not encouraged, but not disallowed :p (Classic Black&White photo-treatment, text, captions and word/thought-balloons are all fine)
** You are encouraged to watermark / copyright your own image (also read Disclaimer below).
(6) **Submitted photos/images to have at least been taken dated from the start of the month of February, 2008. any submitted images pre-dating Feb 2008 will not be eligible for the contest, thanks. (and may be removed from the pool without explanation)
(7) Your submission will be judged by both Andy Woo of Crazy Label and myself (Andy Heng / TOYSREVIL *cough*), with the single winning entrant announced by the end of February. (whereby you will be prompted for your mailing address)
(8) As an added-treat, a select favourite few submissions will be posted unto the toylove2008-blog for YOU viewers to vote for YOUR FAVOURITE! and that winner will ALSO walk away with a Set of 4 BABY TREESONS! (the winning Judges' Choice will not be eligible for this cycle)
(9) The Judges' decision is FINAL.
(10) Prizes are not exchangable in any way, shape or form, altho i doubt if you'd wanna change away your Baby Tressons, no? GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY SNAPPING!
