chi-bo by chi-kit kwong: first strike
comes a brand-new vinyl series dubbed CHI-BO!
Slated for a summer-release, ChiBo is designed by Chi-Kit Kwong (younger brother of Michael Kwong) and includes 50 characters and 10 secret characters = making 60 characaters in total - whereby each launch ("strike") will introduce 5 characters plus a sixth secret character, all to be packed in separate boxes. There will be a total of 10-strikes, with every two months per strike.
The first strike coming in July will launching these 6 characters:01. Actionkwong (5.3 inch tall)
02. Tall Kitty (7.5 inch tall)
03. Teenage Track Star (5.3 inch tall)
04. Space Funky ( 5 inch tall)
05. Your Royal Highness (5.5 inch tall)
06. Miracle shroom (Secret character)
personally, I'm very intrigued and interested to know more about these figures, as they bring with them a surprising breeze of fresh air and full of stories and vitality, while somehow possessing a tinge of "vintage" block-toy-vibe; of the toys we used to play with in our younger-dreams (IMHO) - currently pricing for items are currently undetermined, but do stay tuned for further details! meanwhile, CLICK THRU for some more images (cheers for the headsup, Michael!)
