seen@nycc2008: dc deluxe 1/6 sinestro
SINESTRO has got to be my hands-down most favouritest DC Deluxe 13-inch action figure i've seen thus far from NYCC (via online. anyways) - and while i'll always have issues with tailored super-hero/villain-suits (this would've worked much better is the yellow didn't look like a jester's cut-piece put over like a poncho, IMHO), the face-sculpt shown is exceptional, IMHO.
i reckon tis the more extreme looking characters that shine better than the regular humanoid-looking ones, for perhaps we judge them (or rather, "I" do) based on their likeness to, well, a humanoid, innit? whereas Sinestro looks splendidly evil in Sinestro-Corp mode (gotta lurve teh haircut) ... *gawd i miss comicbooks - i need to know what happens at the end of The Sinestro-Wars dammit!*
Sinestro shown here next to Green Lanterns, first debuted during NYTF [peep] and man, what i'd give to see them produce a series of Sinestro-Corps members! :p
