B.P.R.D. Field Guide: Troll Market - a Hellboy 2 Viral / ARG Bonus
Maybe tis the comicbook-lover in me. Borne and bred on characterization of fictional folks and/with back-stories, which perhaps affects my appreciation of toys as well, from "designer vinyls" to gasaphons. A strong and interesting back-story, beyond "just" aesthetics - leads to a more well-rounded appreciation of said product, IMHO. And perhaps even an investment of interest and of coz, attention.With that said, one of the rewards I've reaped during my extended indulgence into the current Hellboy2 online viral led to the B.P.R.D. FIELD GUIDE to the TROLL MARKET - available via downloadable PDF (posted HERE) - which basically utilizes the conceptual drawings done for the movie (my baseless assumption) with heaps full of written information and "history" - and weaves into the current ARG ("Alternate Reality Game" - theme/concept of the HB2 online-viral) - which I would like to share with you folks here :)

Access to these PDFs were via The Secret Device website, specifically with the unlocking of Codes 5 (page 1-3), Code 6 (page 4-6) and Code 7 (page 7-10) - and with 2 more codes left to be "deciphered" on the website (based on lighted-up indicators at the base of crest), perhaps there may be more pages to add to Field Guide - which again, for the comicbook-lover in me, is excellent, IMHO :)
Besides the current Troll-Market link-to-the-real-world in HETFET.org (*Humans for the Ethical Treatment of Fairies Elves and Trolls*), and of the multiples of viral-websites (new one being Panatrog.org) and users, there are a multitude of viral videos as well (all interlinked) - including this "leaked" youtube-video for what seems to be of the Troll Market itself! [via HB's BigRedBlog] - now how cool i that?
