hot toys 1/6 dark knight seen @ tokyo toy show 2008
Hot Toys' 1/6th-scaled The DARK KNIGHT-movie version BATPOD (check out the front-headlights!) and TUMBLER [blogged] seen on display @ Tokyo Toy Show 2008 (June 19-22) at the West Exhibition Hall 1-4 of Tokyo Big Sight ... and before my wannabe-calm and quasi-cool demeanour crumbles like brittle dried-up fanboy-putty, CLICK THRU for more glorious event pics :)
Somehow the Tumbler looks a tad smaller - altho I'm not too sure of the Batman standing in front of it is in actual 1/6th-scaled (looks like a statue rather than an articulated figure too, dunnit? heh) - and seems like a tight-fit for the Dark Knight, innit? ... but then again, nobody has claimed (so far) that it could actually fit a 1/6th-scaled figure inside, innit? heh.
aaaahhhh but the BATPOD looks a right nice fit, dunnit? (altho tis intriguing they didn't pose Batman riding on it, innit?) ... dun mean to be a total wet-blanket, but these are the little details that plague me 1/6th-mindscape and they demand to be answered! LOL :p ... but I am (again) very intrigued with the Batman shown below - is that his new body armor, compared to the Batman Begins-design posted earlier? *COOLNESS*
The Joker's looking mighty dapper with his seemingly well-drapped
clothes, while Batman stands stoic in his "Batman Begins"-uniform.
