artist invasion! @ the butter factory for singapore toy & comic convention 2008
With less than 10-days til the launch of the first ever Singapore Toy & Comic Convention 2008 in Singapore, the news and events updates come flooding in - the latest being ARTIST INVASION! - which features LIVE Mural Drawing (27th June) and Meet and Greet (28th June) sessions with the visiting artists of STCC08 - hosted by Official Club Partner and Singapore’s premier hip-hop club, The Butter Factory (also the host venue for exclusive after-parties - which no doubt I am not a part of *le-sigh*)/// CLICK THRU to find out what's happening :)
EVENT: LIVE MURAL DRAWING on FRIDAY, 27 JUNE 2008 (10pm-11pm)
"Meet internationally-renowned artistic talents Tokidoki, DEVILROBOTS and Pete Fowler in-person! The three artists will be doing LIVE mural drawings before your very eyes!"
TRE-Note#1: 27th June (Friday) is also the Preview Night of STCC2008. Event actual is open to the Public between 28th and 29th of June 2008.
TRE-Note#2: have a peep at the Toybreak-interview with Kitai and Koto of Devilrobots for their personal views and affinity with/about "alcohol" (heh).
:: WHO TO STALK ::
EVENT: MEET AND GREET SESSION on SATURDAY, JUNE 28 2008 (9PM TO 10PM)
Meet Tokidoki (ITA), DEVILROBOTS (JPN), Pete Fowler (GBR), Gary Erskine (GBR), Touma (JPN), Mori Chack (JPN), and talents from the STCC’s Artist Alley @ The Butter Factory.
TRE-Note#3: The convention doors at Suntec City "officially" closes at 9pm on Saturday 28th - so if you want to make it to the Meet-&-Greet, remember to leave earlier. Access to The Butter Factory is best served via taxi, IMO (even driving may be a hassle in lieu of parking along Mohamed Sultan Road on a Saturday night) - one word "taxi-pool" LOL ... unless there is a dedicated bus shuttle-service from Suntec City to the venue - but I have no idea if there is tho.
TRE-Note#4: I don't know if there'll be autographs allowed, so tis up to you to wanna try your luck - but remember folks are there to chill-out, yeh? Bring a camera, 'natch (send pics to me, 'natch :p) ... and remember where / how to store your bountiful bags of goodies gotten during the STCC-event itself! Or of coz you can try to store your mountain of bags at the reception lah! LOL
