Subject 16566: The Butcher: Gallery & Pre-Order Information

Priority Pre-order for Sideshow Collectible's 2009 Comic-Con Exclusive - Subject 16566: The Butcher 12-inch Figure [blogged] begins Thursday, May 7th at 10 AM (PT) - for the Attendee-version, while the Non-Attendee PPO event will follow on Friday, May 8th at 10AM (PT). No further product details - including costs and quantities - indicated at this time. Sideshow has kindly provide a Gallery of preview images here (including more info) for which I'd cobbled-up a wee teaser slideshow-video posted above. Also check out the May 5th edition of Sideshow TV for a visual run thru of the figure.

TRE-IMPRESSIONS: Barring price-points, this figure looks to be nigh-desirable (for me) with the prerequisite gore and ironic tubbiness of the figure. And who doesn't lurve 1/6-scaled zombies? Appreciate that Sideshow is expanding on their The DEAD zombie-series and exploring different forms, IMHO.

I personally am very interested in the "fat-suit" done up for the figure, and am actually always out looking (tho not very "actively" recently) for "fat" 1/6-scaled figures = makes for an interesting group of mixed body-form dynamics, as far as my kitbashing-needs are concerned :)
