Rotofugi-mentions [via]: "We did an exhibit with Travis in December 2007 called Fantasy Cryland. One of the things Travis did for the exhibit were these amazing little hand-stitched and hand-painted pieces (image shown) he called “Tear Drips.” Inspired by Travis’ creations we immediately set about to pester him into letting us make his art into vinyl toys. Thankfully, he said yes." Click www.teardrips.com to find out more about Tear Drips.
The first Tear Drip was released earlier this year at Wondercon (along with 64Colors' Vintage Marshall). The 5 inch tall Monotone Zoltar Tear Drip is limited to 300-pcs and is currently available via Rotofugi for US$16.95.
Coming soon is Tear Drips Series 1 - which consists of 12 designs in total, with a SRP of US$11.95 per blind box. A display case consists of 12 pieces and guarantees you one of each figure. The exact release date of Series 1 is as-yet-determined. Meanwhile, CLICK THRU for a slideshow of what designs to expect :)
