Concept Images of Chris Hemsworth as Thor
In this day and age of disposable news, "concept art" is the new reveal-portal to any product and/or medium (and hope the conceptual artists and designers get their salary-due). Shortly after the reveal of the Captain America suit (with Chris Evan's mug ever so smuggly rendered underneath the mask of "The First Avenger"), a fictional Norse god gets his conceptual-reveal courtesy of Collinder, with duo images showing actor Chris Hemsworth as Thor!/// CLICK THRU for swiped full-pics.
With his mystical hammer Mjolner in hand, Thor dons yet another leather-ish urban-extreme-sports / ops-suit (THE "spandex" rave of the new millennium) reminiscent of Captain America and no doubt everyone else eventually in the Avengers, by way of the tailors-to-the-superheroes in the Ultimates Universe. Don't get me wrong, I heart the Ultimates-U, but in the end everyone's going to end up looking like a biker-club-slash-boy-band grouping, and that bugs me like surprisingly fierce. I blame it all on the X-Men movies LOL ~ Am I alone in that thought?
Taking a costume-cue moreso from The Ultimates' depiction of Thor (ala Nick Fury, Captain America et al) than the chainmail of heavenly warriors, of course this might be the "after" look once Thor gets on the team that which is The Avengers ... am also interested to see / know if there ever will be "before" look ~ what the Odinson dons while sashaying down the holy halls of Asgard, or even the battlefields, innit?
