The Expendable's Barney Ross in 1/6 from Hot Toys

And while it was a rip-roaring ride down 80's action flicks, ultimately "The Expendables" was pretty much forgettable - which doesn't necessarily mean it is bad (because bad movies kinda stick in your mind like a leech), just that it wasn't as remarkable as it could and should have been. Instead, it is this new Hot Toys' 1/6th-version of Sylvester Stallone as "Barney Ross", that is pretty much impressive, and perhaps is more excitable than the movie itself, IMHO.


Exceptional headsculpt by Korean-master Kojun, a new chunky-real body-form (that does not have a "girl's waist"). Although it would've been really cool if the weapons load-out had gone over the top ~ that harks back to HT's military-releases, before the days of movie-licenses ruled the releases ... which this happens to be a swell mix of both! Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to when local stores part out the accessories, innit? (I'm eyeing the googles, at least! muahahaha).
