Living The TOYSREVIL Lifestyle (Feb/23/2011)
Third music-fueled movie trailer for director Zack Snyder's SUCKER PUNCH (also viewable in HD on Yahoo!Movies / via First Showing - featuring the track "Panic Switch" by Silversun Pickups (cheers to Ritzy Periwrinkle for the headsup!). Yes I am still excited than I have ever been, even more so when I chanced upon this featurette (below - I heart featurettes) on YouTube (circa Dec 2010):

Interesting premise as Behance is know for it's design-related attributes, rather than "toys" (per se), and probably will open up further avenues than direct-toy-related sites, perhaps? I know I would want to be represented here! LOL
I don't know about you folks but these new THOR movie imagery popped up on Spidermedia.ru (ala SuperHeroHype) looks very much like artwork for trading cards, or print promos, don't they? Especially with the "ornate" border design, IMHO. The artwork seems quite reminiscent of Hildebrandt Brothers' Marvel Comics trading card painted artwork in the 90s tho (and yes, I had them LOL). Still don't care a heck'a lot about the movie tho …
"Tron Legacy 8 bit Extended Version" with animation by Pierre Manry and track "Derezzed" by Daft Punk as remixed by Midimachine. I still haven't seen the actual movie though … will somehow wait for "preloved" DVD, which frankly might take a year ...

Guess how many pom-poms were stuffed inside Toy2R's new 7" Clear Qee Body, and put the answer down on their specific Facebook page here, and stand a chance to score a "cool box of FREE toys" from Toy2R USA. You have a week to do this! Good Luck!
Now this'll be something I'd very much like to see: XMEN ANIME! (Spotted on Topless Robot). Produced by Madhouse and set to premiere online on Animax Japan on April 1st, this is the video-description for it
"The X-Men are reunited following the death of a teammate, and are summoned by Charles Xavier to Japan following the abduction of Hisako Ichiki (Armor). There, they confront the U-Men, a lunatic cult that steals and transplants mutant organs to further strengthen their own army, and the battle for justice is on."
In another parallel world of TOYSREVIL, I have a "weakness" for steampunked-designed rayguns (mostly 1:1 scaled), and shown here are montaged images from Weta, featuring guns from Mark Rose (above) and Denham Kelly (below) ~who were the two winners of "Dr Grordbort's Raygun Shootout" in 2010. Really lush, these!
Artist Kat Brunnegraff mentions in her email: " I decided since I was excited about the new Pokemon Black/White game coming out next month to do paintings of the 151 original pokemon. I just finished up my first set of paintings, I started with Dratini's evolution, (Dratini, Dragonair, Dragonite)."
Each painting is 5.5 x 5.5 inches and is acrylic paints on poplar wood ~ and will be listed up on Etsy, priced at US$75 each. As of this post, the above set has been sold (Congrats!). To stay on top of the releases, stay tuned to Kat's twitter-srtream @katbrunnegraff.

Jason Atomic contributes to the Star Wars Galaxy Series 6 trading cards, with artworks done on the back of Admiral Ackbar die-cut cards, examples of more of Jason's work can be seen here as well. Jason adds: "I've been doing lots of cards lately, Hammer Horror, Dr Who, Suckpax2 etc... Designing t-shirts for Milkboy in Tokyo as well as contributing to and curating a group show paying tribute to Jack 'King' Kirby." = Def worthy of more than a sound-effect, don't you think so?
"Nascar Daytona 500 TV Spot" of Transformers: Dark of The Moon spotted on Topless Robot. You have my utmost interest now, Michael Bay!
