just saw Sandi Thom's I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker on MTV and liked it. so here it is:
not coz i really wanna become a punk-rocker (but then again who doesn't?) nor would i wanna have a flower in my hair (ain't purdy enuff ;p) ~ but i reckon tis "i was born too late into a world that doesn't care" [via] which tugged a tad at my inner-heartstrings thoughts ~ for "rebellion" is just another form of "conformity", innit? seems being a "punk-rocker" toed that physical-line, back in the day, innit? and mayhap the "freedom" that was afforded with the "tag" is something that is longed-for, in the here and now??? :p
... metaphysical meanderings on a fridaynite aside, Scottish-artist Sandi was apparently signed onto a major British music label after webcasting live performances from her living room! ~ here's her chatting a bit about that ~ *cool*
