bandwidth exceeded again?

and so i'd according to photobucket, i'd just exceeded my allocated "free" 10GB's worth of bandwidth again, within a span of 13-days? ... gosh i must be "doing so well", innit? (sarcasm is the least i could attempt now, given the situation)

i find that hard to believe tho ... and of coz tis either i PAY for more bandwidth, OR wait until the start of the next month, before i gain back the use of another 10GB's worth and have ALL my images back online ...

bollocks, i say!

tis quite painful a sight to behold, after a long day @ work and with info galore waiting to be posted, to come back to this state of thy blog, dammit. regardless, please do pardon me as i scramble yet again to restore images back to this blog (which'll mean reposting every single or latest posts) - sincere apologies for the lack of images, my dear readers ...

  2. LOL - have lieow! but the trick now is to retrieve the 1,000+ images from my photobucket to repost on the blog! @ 4-5 posts per half hour, it's gonna take a looooong time dammit lol

  3. I think folks may be linking to your images for their use (myspace, facebook, comments, etc), and people are doing the same to them, causing a massive chain that unfortunately counts as bandwidth use for you.
I've seen your Raiden pictures show up all over the place, with a few places specifically linking to your images through your photobucket links.

  4. you are right, Hai - i suppose i should be "happy" at least folks can use the images for "reference" :p ... little did i expect when i started alla these it would lead to exceeded bandwiths! LOL

the irony being, it would be cool if folks did a link back to mu blog, but i reckon loads might not! LOL

cheers for the thought and comment, Hai, really appreciate it! :))))

  5. my pleasure man,
it would be a shame to see you go because of these inconveniences, but I already get the feeling that there is a great deal of passion in your hobby, that this sort of stuff is more of a pain in the ass than anything else.

  6. dude, "pain" is right! at 3+am in the morning, i was darn near pressing the "Delete Blog"-button, due to exhaustion and partial-blog-dementia! LOL :p

but you're right: "inconveniences" - tis not a do-or-die situation yet - least not being sued by folks to closedown the blog (crosses fingers + toes) - so it'll have to be "harder-work", i guess to reinstate image integrity ;p

    thanks again, Hai! :)))

  7. Bummer. We used to use a photosharing service for Vinyl Pulse, but there were potential terms of service issues so we went to a full-blown web host to handle our images. A good thing too.. We do like 200 gigs/month. Which is kinda insane.

  8. 200gigs? *swoon* = but the quality shows tho and since content is king, it is an absolute neccessity = thatz why VP rawks! (not polishin' da apple coz itz true :p)

unfortunately i haven't the means to procure more space, so it'll haveta be a massive repost for now, or at least til next month LOL

    *sigh*
