new qees update 006 (february)

while waiting for (the inevitable) Toy2R NYCC event-pics, here's what they have up their vinyl-sleeves in the months to come (or have gone):

2.5"-er Qee OXOP Series 3 features monsters and mad scientists/doctors (IMO)- with designs by Aaron Horkey / Aesthetic Apparatus / Attaboy / DEVO / Gary Taxali / Joe Ledbetter / Junko Mizuno / Liz McGrath / Martin Ontiveros / Niagra / Rob McBroom and two mystery figures from HAZE XXL and Jeff Soto (insert image-right, perhaps???)

actually they're looking really intriguing so far... and might even end up as my first series-purchase, innit? LOL

*more after the jump*

the only way to get the 3.5"-er PigeeQ DIY (image below-left) is to watch the Andy Lau headlined-Protégé mandarin movie, whereby you'd get a chance to win it in a lucky draw [details here] - too bad they don't have toy-promos like that in Singapore, innit? *bleh*

and i haveta say: pretty cute devil-spiked tails in this series of 3.5"-er Baby Qee DIY (Wave 7 - Devil Version) - with 3 to choose from: KitcatQ / DoggyQ and MonQ.

and if "devils" ain't your cuppa toy-tea, then consider the 3.5"-er Glow-In-Dark DIY Angel Baby Qee @ HK$70 per (Wave 6) [Wave 5-Regular White mentioned here]

the (above-right) 2.5"-er Qee Final Touch Bear is based on "Iwan"; one of the virtual designs for a 3D opera by Felice Limosani with music composed by Mira Calix and the London Symphony. a toysonstage exclusive limited to 1000 pcs worldwide (and supported by Luisaviaroma.com) this qee comes postcard packed and made available in April 2007

and on a plush-trip, Toy2R is slated to release Sun-Min Kim's Spiderboom (Version 2 - Happy) in May/April 2007 via Diamond Comics Distribution, with all three variants @ 300 limit-each [via]
