mimoco core vimobot series one

newindainbox: mimoco's original Core Series of mimobot Art Toy USD Flash Drives (designed by Yahid Rodriguez and had been lusted over by me oft times on this blog LOL) has been transformed into the Core Vimobot Series [here] in the first of their Pure Vinyl Art Collection! (included/shown below is the assortment ratio :p)

(i wonder if there's a mystery-chase, yeh? :p) these 4"-er tall vinyl figures will be made available in blind assortments @ USD$9.95 per (with a 2000-limit) - and to join in the platform-toy bandwagon, DIY Blank Vimobots [here] - where you'd be able to enter a Vimobot Design Contest, which is slated to begin mid-March (*stay tuned for more details*)

and with a presence in the recent NYCC [blogged] and a launch of a new mimobot-forum (where you stand a chance to win a 2GB mimobot) = mimoco looks set to conquer 2007, innit? *cool*

  3. This just has me shaking my head...

Mimobots are great. But what was great about them was the whole form-following-function thing. Now the form just seems awkward...

And the graphical designs—same problem. These designs worked with the form before, now they make a lot less sense.

I would much rather have seen something new from these guys.
