replacing Lindsay Wagner (circa late 70's) as "Jaime Sommers", aka: The Bionic Woman, is Michelle Ryan, in NBC's new upcoming re-imaging of the "classic" tv-show = read more on Access Hollywood [via]

in an attempt to sustain their (ratings) success with the superhero / super-powered HEROES, NBC has given the go-ahead for this retro-revivial, but instead of $6-million dollars (oops, that was the "dude", innit?), the new millennia bionic-fittings cost a cool $50-million instead (inflation and all dat lah - if not, go peep this "real" Bionic Woman) - i wonder if they'll still keep the iconic-bionic-sound-effect? = c'mon, you remember that bionic-sound right?
