images of Hot Toy's 1/6 Jack Sparrow figure [blogged] has surfaced on Blister [images via] and personally, i haveta say: the details are insane!
the headsculpt is pretty decent actually (as compared to Medicom's , but definitely not to Kojun's LOL) ... and as much as i abhor moulded hair, tis a standard industry-evil that has to be tolerated for now (customizers would no doubt add their own touch to them eventually, IMHO) *HAH*
i just can't get over Jack's compass (hope it actually opens tho) and even shrunken-hand LOL - and yes, the attention to the costumes and accessories is highly commendable (as commendable as a prototype-image can provide, that is) IMHO :)
finally, Sao Feng would have a worthy opponent! LOL ~ slated for a June-2007 release with a SRP of 19,800YEN [via], the figure comes right after the launch of the POTC3: At World's End movie = *cool*

ReplyDeleteI have been rather selective or picky in recent purchases. This one have to see him in person then whether a "must have" node can be made. After all it ain't an inexpensive piece, and I hate adding another modding project on the already a mile-long to-do list :D
