hot toy's 1/6 captain sao feng figure
scored a "double-hit" yesterday, discovering both the images on Hot Toy's website-listing and hi-res scanned magazine images on OSW, of the upcoming POTC3 1/6 Captain Sao Feng figure (Chow Yun Fatt) - previously featured as a Zizzle-product [here]
sculpted by South Korea's Yulli, the face-sculpt goes nigh-realistic to Chow's role in the movie, mayhap a tad "too realistic"? and leaves him a porous-faced mofo pirate that only a blind natural mother would love LOL - but of coz high-points for "realism", yeh? just wished that his lips didn't like like they were sewn-shut or dead-chapped, innit? IMHO :p
granted, the costume detail is to die for, with embroidery and detailed-moulded pieces - and together with a matching pistol and sabre, makes this one of the more "unique" offerings from Hot Toy's Movie Masterpiece series so far, yeh?
