sideshowtoys' 1/6 hobbits: frodo baggins and samwise gamgee

the only thing that bugs me about SideShowToy's 1/6th Hobbits Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee [blogged] are that their ankle-joints and shin-joint-lines are obvious to the eye. fair enough if there really aren't any materials (ie: soft latex) that could be used as a slip-on addition, which i reckon could've helped make these figures a tad more "attractive", IMHO ... other than that, the sculpt seems well done, the clothing and accessories are plentiful and detailed (Sideshow Exclusive-versions include "Lembas Bread" for Sam and "Weathertop sword, belt with scabbard" for Frodo) /// READ MORE HERE

... and the only thing now is; i just need to see them lined-up next to an actual 12"-er / 1:6 figure for height comparison, innit? (no dimensions provided thus far :p) ... slated for a 1st-quarter 2008-drop, both Frodo and Sam are available for pre-order now @ US$70-per -
