about those hot toy's resident evil 4: biohazard 1/6th figures

admittedly i've been sitting on this piece of 1/6th-news for quite a while now, becoz there's never been any "decent" pics of the figures, except for displays during SDCC '07 (that's a while!) but now, official "glamour" pics and news have been unleashed online on both Hot Toys and SideshowToys which i can serendipitously swipe from (LOL) featuring Hot Toys' 1/6th-adaptation of characters based on the video game: Resident Evil 4 / Biohazard 4 [wiki] and a 6th exclusive figure from SST! (scheduled for a 4th qtr 2007-drop / 1st qtr 2008-US ship)

first up is pretty-boy Leon Scott Kennedy in both parasite-killing casual-wear, ie: Regular (SST/HT - which the typewriter being the only "prop" i want LOL) and in dashing R.P.D. Uniform (SST/HT - the "Matilda" secret weapon looks awesome) - both on pre-order on SST @ US$150-per

mercenary Jack Krauser also comes in two forms: Regular (SST/HT - gimme the compound-bow and seeker robot) and the cool-mutated Post Transformed-version (SST/HT) - both @ US$135 pre-order on SST

and finally there's the Ganado Chainsaw Killer in Regular Version (SST/HT) and the SST-exclusive with a double-bladed chainsaw (now that i'd like to have - the chainsaw i mean :p) - both ready to maim for USD$135 pre-order @ SST

and tho i don't play the game, i reckon having an additional Ada Wong might make for an interesting addition? *heh* ... /// CLICK HERE TO SEE THE 1/6TH-PROPS I REALLY WANT

  1. I wanted to inquire about this "1/6th" number I keep seeing on some of your posts about upcoming releases. Is that a specific company or the size of the figure? I'm slightly confused.

  2. "1/6th" or "1:6" refers to the scale of the figure (in proportion to "huamn" scale/size)

    1/1 = actual human/life size
    1/6 = 1:6th of a human/life size

a lot of hobby kits (snap-away) are 1/18-scale

average 1/6th-scale figures measure 30cm tall / 12 inches height

    here's a wiki-entry for further clarity:

    hope this helps? :)
