a new line of Military-themed apparel? personal grooming for disfranchised ex-Military personnel? licensed G.I. Joe Real American Hero-figures? ... i reckon tis the last category (*duh*), altho it remains to be seen whether tis 1/6th-figures, premium busts or even Cobra Commander bobble-heads, ennit? ...eerrr... let's stick with the notion of fully articulated 1/6th scale-figures, shall we?
altho opinions have been divided between who will be producing the 1/6th movie-adapted figures versus the "original" RAH-line, seeing that G.I.Joe is Hasbro's license in the first place and that they've reported (or rather "touched-upon vaguely") in their earlier 2008-release plans ... what do you folks think?
i reckon Sideshow will (re) do the "original" RAH-Line while Hasbro continues with the evolution of the current movie-adaptation ... altho i could be 100% wrong and Sideshow will be trusted to do a "realistic"-take on the movie-adaption, seeing as they have the technology and track record (cough), as compared to Hasbro's mass-market "appeal" (ie: less detailed, catered primarily for kids) ... or we could just ALL be wrong and there'll be kickass premium format busts instead. ain't speculation a bitch? - heh ... we'll know further by Feb 17-20th, when SST does their online Toy Fair, yeh? *stay tuned*
