Flopdoodle drops word of the impending release of Tim Biskup's CHROME POLLARD scheduled for Feb 8th (Friday @ Noon, PST) - available online @ flopdoodle.com for US$300-per.

The original 4-inch tall vinyl Pollard figure was Tim's first toy. This chrome version is the first new version in over six years. It is cast in steel and chrome plated. The edition is limited to only 40 figures. Each one is number stamped on the base. The figure comes in a custom made wooden box with a signed and numbered 6-color serigraphed slide-top.

strictly for Biskup+Pollard-fans, i reckon ... as attractive as the chrome-finish is, it does look particularly bland to my unrefined toy-tastebuds, i surmise (and no, i did not say "paper-weight" :p) but heck if the box-art wouldn't make a nifty wood-plate poster, no? *sweet*
