seen above may possibly be Harvey Dent freshly burnt and enroute for
justice ... or perhaps for revenge? or how about a BBQ Gone Wrong?

CRISPY-DENT: "... I. HATE. B.B.Q.s ..."
I don't know...it looks OK I guess. Maybe I am on an Iron Man high that I may come down off by July.
ReplyDeleteI hope there is more play with Two-Face in the movie because we've seen the Joker, the batcycle and now the jumping off the Hong Kong IFC building, so not sure what else there is left to surprise us with.
Batman Begins is my favorite superhero movie, so I hope this trailer was meant to deflate my expectations so I end up being blown away in the cinema.
The teaser I thought was more exciting than this.
Also I wish that Rachel Dawes was written out rather than re-cast, there is no real reason Mrs. Cruise couldn't be in the sequel to keep it consistent.
I have heard that the Two-Face make-up is being done with CGI so that it looks more alive. That means that Two-Face is definitely in this movie, probably born in that trailer sequence where Harvey Dent is on the floor with the room on fire - oh no, another change to the comic story?
I love Batman, and I will definitely be there on opening day, but I am cautiously optimistic on this one. Whereas I went in to see Iron Man with very high expectations, and the movie exceeded those even though I realize now all the cool stuff was already in the 2 trailers. Its the way all those quick shots were tied together.
oh good - I'm not the only one that thinks like this:

Wow this is going to be good (at least, that is what the hype wants me to believe!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the trailer!
No, I'm pretty sure the hype wants you to believe it's bad. Since when has advertising tried to get people to be interested in the product?
