Priced at 30€ / 35€ (members / non members) - the 3-inch resin hand-casted DIY-White (LE50) is scheduled for a Fall-release, available @ jumpingbrain.org (you'd haveta be a member on their mailing list to be able to get it on day of release tho). How did the Jumping Brain concept & figure come about?
EMILIO GARCIA: Mmm... its a fun time project started in November 2007 looking for (a way to) create a diferent toy (other) than dolls, dunnys or bunny-bears. My life has been full of toys since I remember (I'm a collector) and it's too dificult to find something really different... Some day in March I posted some pictures in solosontoys.com (a spanish toy forum).
To my surprise, the Jumping Brain begins to appear in many web sites & magazines like Vinilpulse, Plasticandplush, NotCot, Dunny.nl, Clutter Magazine... The RGB sets soldout in a couple of days, and we have to stop the preorder because many people had sent me messages telling: "please I only want one colour and you say that they sell separately!!" I never imagined that they would go so fast...!
We've reserved a little stock of the soldout RGB set (LE120) for individual sale in November 2008.
