It's the manufactured human-emotion-nal moments that gets to me in Michael Bay-films. When beyond the glossy commercial shots, the mecha-awesomeness (Demolishor is fast becoming a fav of mine), big-bang explosions and hoopla, the moments of mortal-peril when both Sam's and Mikela's family gets dragged into the insanity of giant transforming robots amongst humanity, when things aren't as rosy and funny as before, when you're loved one's lives are in harm's way - is what gets metearing like a baby all choked-up. Manufactured or not, it works, IMHO. Damn you Michael Bay! Damn you for making a grownassman beg for a movie shed manly-tears!
... And yah, them giant robots is cool too ... heh.
