To Demolish and Devastate: Devastator & Demolishor from Revenge Of The Fallen @ New York Toy Fair 2009
It took me a while, but I've finally got it: The DEVASTATOR is made up of 6 separate Constructicons (aka Construction Vehicles), and one of them is the DEMOLISHOR (which is the largest Constructicon, and forms his torso). As a toy, Demolishor is available in two forms [1] as part of the 6 Constructicons which can combine to form the Devastator (shown above), and [2] as a stand alone individual Voyager Class toy (shown below).

Darn, I'm getting excited over Transformers-toys again ...
An inspired DEVASTATOR rendered drawing made it's online debut a week back (shown above / via AICN by way of ACTOYS) and it's toy-incarnation was revealed to the public at the weekend's Hasbro Collectors Event at the New York Toy Fair 2009 - as part of Hasbro's TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN movie toy-line. [The six Constructicons which combines togther to make up the Devastator]
FYI: According to the Demolishor wiki-entry, the ("Combiner") Demolishor sold together with the other Constructicons (above-bottom-right of montage) does combine with other toys to form Devastator, but has no individual robot mode.
The 100 to 120 feet tall Devastator is formed by the follwoing construction vehicles [info via wiki]:
- DEMOLISHOR: the Terex O&K RH 400 Hydraulic Mining Excavator. He forms Devastator's torso.
- LONG HAUL: a green Caterpillar 773B dump truck, which forms the right leg.
- RAMPAGE: a Caterpillar D9 bulldozer who forms the left leg/
- SCRAPPER: a Caterpillar 992G scoop loader who forms the right arm.
- HIGHTOWER: transforms into a yellow Kobelco CK2500 Truss Crane and forms the left arm.
- MIXMASTER: transforms into a black and silver Mack concrete mixer. He forms the head.
TOY-DESCRIPTION: TRANSFORMERS MOVIE CONSTRUCTICON DEVASTATOR (Approximate retail price: US$99.99 / Ages 5 & up / Available: August 2009)
"The largest and most powerful foe the AUTOBOTS will encounter in this summer’s TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN is sure to be DEVASTATOR, a monstrous DECEPTICON robot made up of six separate construction vehicles known as the CONSTRUCTICONS. The TRANSFORMERS MOVIE CONSTRUCTICON DEVASTATOR allows kids to re-create the film’s awesome action sequences." [Press Info via Cool Toy Review]
DEVASTATOR IN REVENGE OF THE FALLEN: "On the Transformers site, it was confirmed that several new Decepticons would form Devastator in the 2009 sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen , and that he would have powerful upper body strength, similar to a gorilla ... ... He will also be made up of 6 vehicles. The Super Bowl XLIII teaser showed a large wheeled robot, (an excavator) later revealed to be a component of Devastator." [wiki]
The DEMOLISHOR made it's public media debut earlier this month in the RoTF Teaser Trailer shown during the U.S. Super Bowl weekend - and with it's mono-wheel, tore into a bridge and exploded unto screens (shown above). Shown below are product-renders/images as well as showroom images of the Voyager Class Demolishor in Terex RH400 Excavator vehicle-form, as well as in Decepticon-robot mode (FYI: Votager Class Demolishor is an individual toy that does not combine with other toys to form Devastator - but can transform between vehicle and robot mode by itself):

DEMOLISHOR IN REVENGE OF THE FALLEN: "In both teaser and trailer, a Constructicon is shown multiple times as a Terex RH400 Excavator. Although the excavator Constructicon from the Generation 1 Transformers is named Scavenger, it was revealed in February 2009 that the name had been changed to Demolishor. Demolishor is the largest Constructicon and forms the torso of Devastator."
MOVIE-PLOT: "Demolishor appears in both Trailers. He appears in China, hideing in his vehicle mode from the Autobots and U.S Military. He tries to loose thier trail, by transforming, and quickly pounding his hands into the ground, sending a sand storm into the air confusing the Military Helicopters. As it starts to clear he lunges at the Choppers, sending one to the ground. Demolishor later destroys a bridge just Optimus Prime as jumps off the bridge, diveing at Demolishor, grabing onto him."
