Nathan gave the green sets to his audience at the Pictoplasma conference in Berlin in 2006. He gave them away to commemorate the recent death of Steve -Crocodile hunter- Erwin.

I gave mine away to a big fan of his work.

ReplyDeleteI actually bought like 15 sets and gave them away in a bday party back in 2008. I kept 3 sets for myself. I love the feel they have, kinda bendy-smooth. And they look real cute with the two sizes.
ReplyDeleteI scored a pair at that same Pictoplasma and thought it was a nice touch to commemorate the Croc hunter. Still got them riding high on the toy shelf. Didn't realise you could stack them though, the big one is really long so I tend to just poke them in between taller figs :)
ReplyDeleteI picked up a pair at San Diego Comic Con 2006 from the StrangeCo booth. Just as you described, two in a foil bag for $5.
