Listed on StrangeCo's website are these Minitreehouse Crocodiles by Nathan Jurevicius (priced at US$4.99 per pair), which I have never seen nor knew about before. Gawds but I heart the internet for the constant toy-education! Anybody scored these before? What's your take on them?

  1. Nathan gave the green sets to his audience at the Pictoplasma conference in Berlin in 2006. He gave them away to commemorate the recent death of Steve -Crocodile hunter- Erwin.
One bag had a gold version and that person got a drawing from Nathan.
I gave mine away to a big fan of his work.

  2. @Sjo: nice! thanks! i've always loved "stories" about toys, it makes it a much more enriching experience than "where to buy + how much" :)

  3. I actually bought like 15 sets and gave them away in a bday party back in 2008. I kept 3 sets for myself. I love the feel they have, kinda bendy-smooth. And they look real cute with the two sizes.

  4. I scored a pair at that same Pictoplasma and thought it was a nice touch to commemorate the Croc hunter. Still got them riding high on the toy shelf. Didn't realise you could stack them though, the big one is really long so I tend to just poke them in between taller figs :)

  5. I picked up a pair at San Diego Comic Con 2006 from the StrangeCo booth. Just as you described, two in a foil bag for $5.
