STRANGEco @ San Diego Comic Con 2010 (Booth 4629 - Crashed by Kidrobot)
Essentially to me, "video" says it all. In this disposable age of information, a video clip can go further in showcasing a product or service, and avoid misinterpretation of the written word. And at the very least, video-images need not suffer the indignity of having watermarks removed, unlike their 2D-online counterparts.
Personal-rambling aside, posted here are a trio of "Booth Crash" videos by Kidrobot via KRonikle ~ specifically focused on STRANGEco booth #4629 @ San Diego Comic Con 2010 [tagged] ~ currently on til Sunday July 25th. CLICK THRU for more videos and pics!
Shown above are the new King Ken Series 2 line-up [Peep Series One HERE], and "Caleb" from Amos Toys, designed by James Jarvis, featuring 7 different styles of "tee shirt" on the figure (or was that for the mini King Ken figure? hhhmmm). Scheduled for a Fall 2010-release.
"Double Super" is a collaborative project with Hong Kong's threezero (also partners with 3A Toys and Playge), and features products scheduled for 2011 release. On display includes previously featured; Will Sweeney's SU2CV [blogged in '08], Nathan Oda's "Midnight Crooner [blogged in '08], as well as MARS-1's Electric Monkeyman, previously available at his art shows as Bronze sculptures by Brin Berliner.
The eye-popping clear "Two Dreams Into One" by Ferric, , Bob Dob's "Good Fortune" with elaborate diorama, and finally Ron English's "Ben Banger" rounds out the line coming out from Double Super [DoubleSuoer.com / site not yet live). THe final video posted below showcases specifically STRANGEco's SDCC-release of Mr Spray by Shepard Fairey [blogged].
