Double Super Release: Midnight Crooner by Nathan Ota (Pre-orders)

We first blogged about LA-based artist Nathan Ota's "Midnight Crooner" back in 2008 (based on his painting titled: "Candy Colored Clown"), and more recently saw it's display debut at San Diego Comic Con [HERE]. And now, STRANEGco collaborates with Hong Kong's ThreeZero to finally release the figure under their new collabo-brand DOUBLE SUPER!


[Above: Crooner at 1:50 sec mark] Currently available for pre-orders here at US$124.99 with an October ship-out ~ the 8 inch tall vinyl figure features tailored clothing (digging the ruffles), and a working light (which doubles-up as the crooner's mike). No quantities are specified. Am very interested to see this figure up-close, both fascinated with the vinyl and fabric combi, as well as the finishing from the ever impeccable threezero.
