About Those TOYSREVIL Daily Blog-Roundup Montages
One of the things I do to let folks know about what I blog about on TOYSREVIL daily, are montage image roundups, like the one shown above (this one in particular for March 22nd), and I realized suddenly I have been posting these on my TWITTER and FACEBOOK, but hardly on this particular blog!
They are made for both promotion for this blogspot, as well for my own personal enjoyment, as I do enjoy seeing the images together like that hahaha (I do not do things I do not enjoy, for the blog, mind). I understand it might be unnecessary to post here, since, well, you are actually reading the posts here, aren't you? But now you know :)
Each image represents an individual post for the blogday as indicated, and they serve as a "visual guide" / "visual menu" for the blogposts, as not every title and name might be familiar to readers. And if you have to know, the images are individual cropped by myself and put together in photoshop!
There are actually a few incarnations of this mosaic-styled montage for TOYSREVIL before this … I had a Archive-blog started in 2008, with each 100x100 icon linked to it's blog-post (but the set-up was arduous as it was all manually cropped and URL-linked by myself ~ yes I was insane LOL), and as well a singular blogsite at http://tre-archive.blogspot.com which contained the aforementioned icons, but in a single loading-page, in what I call a "BROWSER-BUSTER", as the likelihood of downloading the entire page may well crash your browser system! (It used to clog up my old browser, but now? Tis a breeze to download :p)
There were also nice "experiments" in imagery and in "toy-news", which I had thought to explore and perhaps engage in another tangible form perhaps, for display and exhibitions. I gave up after a few months into the game though … although I've always wonder what they would look like in total, with 6 years' worth of blog-posts behind them … my blog-life plastered unto wallpapers against the walls, what a nice little show that would make, eh? One day, I Will :)
