How THOR was made featurette - a 7-11 x Dr Pepper special video = seems like a right sort of sponsorship deal than blatant product placement, no? Then again I have watched the film yet, and do not rule out The Destroyer stepping on one of the chain store as he walks into town looking to crush Thor, innit? (muahahahaha). Oooooh look! There IS a 7-11 store in the town, as well a Dr Pepper soda dispenser machine - amidst a glorious look at the world beyond the rainbow-bridge on Asgard !
