Drawing Cumulus Submission Ends at the end of Drawing Cumulus Day

CUMULUS-ENTRIES

A total of 63 x entries were submitted for the DRAWING CUMULUS Illustration Competition, which saw a myriad of adaptations and interpretations of this character creation by Illustrator Jonathan Edward and made into a vinyl toy by Crazy Label.

Of the entries, 30 of them featured a smoking pipe with smoke. 22 entries had a pipe but was not smoked, while 7 entries did not even feature the signature pipe at all. One even had a cigarette instead! And out of the 63 submissions, three featured Cumulus with a hand-gun, while 2 entries had a dead-body in the scene; represented by an arm (both bloody and non-bloody). Frankly I am bit surprised and delighted we saw so many submissions - thanks for participating everyone, sincerely!

Check out all the submissions on the dedicated Flickr-group, as well this album on Facebook (Please DO NOT TAG yourselves until the winners have been announced tho - appreciate it!) ~ Or simply just Click HERE to see the images of those who chose to have their submissions featured here on this blog!

By my estimates, the results will be formerly announced on June 10th. Winners will be notified via PM before that, so thanks for staying tuned to TOYSREVIL, and thanks again for taking the time and trouble to participate!

Cheers
Andy
