Day 1 of Plastic Culture @ Taipei Toy Festival 2011
Plastic Culture Booth A7 @ Taipei Toy Festival (www) saw a trio of "brands" - featuring two Indonesia-designer's products and an American vinyl-release.
TTF saw Asia-release of Joe Ledbetter's Wrecks and Dazey Fossil Edition from Analog Playset - of which only 24 sets out of the 300 piece-edition is available for sale here.
Eric Wirjanata aka Thunderpanda's products took two display shelves, and featured his LEMI-character: Supersized Lemi and Mini Lemi plashes, his new Perry The Sea Wanderer resin (both of which were produced by P.C.) and the "surprise" release of his 4" Lemi in resin. Priced at NT$900 and limited to 140 pieces - they come with a sticker & pin.
Johanes Djauhari of Bismarck Toy Lab launches his all-wooden carved Solidboy V.2 and showcases his lush packaging box for the figure. Hope folks in Taiwan does not miss out on this slice of culture - a representation of both tradition and art-toy, IMHO.
