"This year is Osamu Tezuka classic character "Astro Boy" debut 60th anniversary, we are very proud to get the license of Astro Boy. We are going to release a series of Astro Boy collectable figurines in the future."

Having been known in the recent post of producing smelly female 1/6th-scaled action figurines and even 1/6-scale 'props' - ZC World has announced they have secured the rights to produce ASTRO BOY! Remember not too long ago, Hot Toys was adapting the animated movie into toys? Looks like the folks at ZC are going back to the anime's manga-roots! The above-banner image is a teaser, while the below WIPs shows what they have in mind!

"There are many different version of Astro Boy, like TV version, SD version, Mighty Atom...We are going to release different version of Astro Boy in the future. For the first one, we choice the most cute looking SD Version, and invite Japan Tezuka Productions Team for prototype supervision." ~said ZCWorld on Facebook.
