Signs of the Apocalypse group show @ myplasticheart (Aug 3-Sept 2)

EVENT-PRESS: myplasticheart would like to present our next group show “Signs of the Apocalypse” featuring 30 amazing artists. According to curator Lou Pimentel:

“The Mayans believe that the world will end in 2012, and with so many things going wrong in the world; tsunamis, earthquakes, global warming, flocks of birds/schools of fish mysteriously buying the farm; one can’t help but think about it. What do you consider to be a sign of the Apocalypse? I invited some of my favorite artists to translate, and give life to the fears living in their heads.”

Opening reception takes place on August 3rd from 6-9pm with many of the artists in attendance. The exhibit runs from August 3rd to September 2nd.
