"Glossy Dreams in Depths" by French artist Stéphane Blanquet is currently on show at the Singapore Art Museum, including a large scaled installation (200 sqm at 8Q - 2nd floor/3rd level) called "Les rêves engloutis", where the artist had designed everything from floor to ceiling and created more than 40 never seen before artworks, one of which is the Elephant-character "Black Mamba" seen above. More setting-up images here.

And if the name "Stéphane Blanquet" rings a toy-bell, tis because he designed the art toy "Betty Hairy Honey" (produced by Luke Rook of Lulubell Toys), who will also be showcased, along with other objects and artwork. Opened since May 17th and exhibiting thru September 1st, I'm intrigued to go visit SAM sometime soon myself. Meanwhile, details on the Event Page.
