Sure, overseas 7-11s (notably Hong Kong) have tokidoki x Hello Kitty exclusives, and Singapore has it's fair share of Marvel + Disney Pixar Figurines and Hello Kitty Coin Bank promotions, but if there's one thing "universal" about "toy shops" on the globe, the best bet is your neighborhood convenience shop 7-Eleven might be carrying some licensed toys! So really, if ever you need a last minute toy-fix, there's always 7-11 at 24/7!
Suddenly remembering the ols days when I hankered for cigarettes at odd-hours in the morning before dawn (I've stopped smoking since Stroke, fhanks ;p), and you know you could pop by the nearest 7-11 ... but imagine "toys" now, so it still works! MUAHAHAHAHAHA :p
Spotted at Tampines St.11 (situated around the Tampines Round Market & Food Centre) is a well stocked outlet for licensed toys I have seen yet! Sure, I might not have visited the entire island's outlets, but …
Chanced upon this store last night as we brought our cat Mao to see the vet, and decided to visit the next day (as we brought Mao back for scheduled treatment…), to take some snaps … and yes, to grab some toys, because I am weak and could not resist the toy-temptations!
Walked away with a Simpsons Series 2 Lego Mini Figure (SG$3.90 per blind pack), and a Hot Wheels x Star Wars Kylo Ren model car (SG$5.90 apiece, which I think might be a tad expensive?) - #playingwith videos featured below, as well as egenrous snaps of the toys and collectibles available on-shelves!
