Thailand Toy Expo's mascot character "Nong" (most recently seen in promotional ads & posters) is now a 6-inch tall vinyl toy! Available to purchase at this year's Thailand Toy Expo 2018 (May 3-6) exclusively via Booth number: I1, found in the TTE exclusives shop (Tent 1, Square A) @ Central World, Bangkok.
In an edition of 280pcs, each priced at 2,400 baht (approx. US$76 / SG$101), here's a nifty unboxing video to tempt your toy-desires!
Nong comes with his accessories, which essentially makes up "Banana Rib Hobby Horse Riding" ("Khee Ma Kan Kuay") - a traditional Thai folk play for children, whereby the "horse" they ride is made from a banana leaf/branch - with a string tied from head to tail of this "banana leaf horse" to place on the shoulder of the rider!

"All player sit on the stem of banana like they're riding a horse and shouting ‘hee hee’ or ‘yee haaah’. All of them have to run to the goal at the end of the racecourse. Whoever reaches the finish line first will be the winner of that game." (Wiki)I am totally appreciating the nod to a childhood Thai folks play, and I reckon the added "battle blade" is a nice added touch to the "banana leaf warrior"!
