Seen@STGCC2018: Owly Potter by Vincent Trinidad
A surprise find at Artist Alley, and a painful regret for not snagging this when I had the chance to (I very nearly always forget to, except only to snap pictures for the blog and Instagram ~ D'OH!). Presenting OWLY POTTER by Vincent Trinidad!
Featuring a smashing mash-up of the "Harry Potter" dressed in the "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" graduating student-iconology with owls (if this was a WHITE colored owl...), priced irresistibly at SG$50 each at STGCC, this would make a pretty swell gift for Potter-fans, IMHO. A "graduation-gift" perhaps? :)
This design was borne of his initial illustration, made into tee design, and print, now as a 3-dimensional collectible :)
The paint app for this hollow resin piece (in my hand) was decent (for that price point), with the suitable details obvious to the eye, IMHO. Folks interested to snag this might keep in touch with the artist via his Instagram / Facebook / email: "vp021@yahoo.com" ... although I have to admit, my eyes immediately gravitated to the figure, instead of the wondrous tees (featuring designs by himself) displayed in the panels behind! Blame it on "toy-only-focused"-eye lah.. LOL
