WING KONG TIKI Coming Soon from Gerald Okamura
From sketch to resin cast, this is a look at the work-in-progress evolution/development of the WING KONG TIKI from Gerald Okamura - featuring design by David Gonzalez, sculpted by Mike "Nemo" Mendez, with moldcast by Brian Ahlbeck (AKA "Dead Hand Toys").
The character is based on his role as "Wing Kong (The Hatchet Man)" in John Carpenter's 1986 "Big Trouble in Little China", and features the unmistakable tiki-sculpted stylings of Nemo!
There are a few "Gerald Okamura"-themed collectibles planned for DesignerCon 2018 (Nov 16-18) - including goodies from Max Toy Co and Hyperactive Monkey (we'll take a closer look at them real soon), so would this appear then too? Availability updates when I have them!
