As folks are setting up their tables at Anaheim Convention Center for the Nov 16th launch (Preview Night) of the annual DesignerCon 2018 (exhibiting thru Nov 18), we continue our delve into our "2018 DesignerCon Toy Watch", with today's quartet of toy-news featuring names familiar to this blog - all of whom are linked to their Instagrams, thanks. :)
And the third artist revealed to alongside the line-up of Nychos and Juan Muniz for officially licensed Jurassic Park collectibles is: Joe Ledbetter!
The "Dilophosaurus “Spitter”" are produced by @3dretro and features sculpt by @davebondiart, with this 6-inches tall vinyl figure in a limited edition of 250pcs (price unknown). Stay connected to @joe_ledbetter for updates!
Colus' SNAKE comes in two editions: The original smoky black in an edition of 15pcs, while the "Imposter Red" will be for pre-order only (also limited to 15pcs) - available via Booth #301. Price is currently pegged at approx. US$300. Folks might be familiar with the visage of this 8-inch tall Snake first seen at Colus' "Deadweight" solo show at Clutter Gallery. Updates on @colus.
Besides the FYE exclusive CHOICES and Shadow Edition "ANIMAL", @jermainerogersart new reveals the "Toy Soldier" Edition of his (approx.) 8-inch tall resin ANIMAL! Limited to an edition of 50pcs (price unknown), look for it at his booth #1713.
Artist Steven Harrington @s_harrington will bring his AAPE Collaboration with A Bathing Ape - available via @toyqube booth #412 - featuring the medium sculpt/collectible (last seen+released at ComplexCon), and as well a preorder available for the small version before world wide online release ... and an "oversized sculpture" (see below) for photo-ops!
